Meniga co-founder and CEO Georg Ludviksson joins FinTech Investor Forum

Meniga co-founder and CEO Georg Ludviksson is the next guest speaker to be announced for the FinTech Investor Forum in London on November 8.

Ludviksson will speak alongside a number of other distinguished banking CEOs and heads of innovation on the Bank Innovation panel. The event brings together 100 FinTech investment firms and financial institutions with CEOs of successful FinTech startups and scale-ups.

Founded in 2009, Meniga is a Nordic company which is a personal finance management platform for retail banks in the European market. Through the platform’s legacy infrastructure and APIs, users can use personal finance data to enrich online and mobile customer experiences, and also prepare for the upcoming PSD2 regulation.

The company is currently implemented by 30 clients across 18 countries, including several top-tier retail banks.

Earlier this year Meniga raised a €7.5m funding round led by Nordic VC Industrifonden and also saw contributions from Velocity Capital, Frumtak Ventures and Kjolfesta also participated. The injection of capital will be used to help the company to accelerate its growth and work with more banks.

Ludviksson has also co-founder two other companies, which are virtual investing site and software developer Dimon Software. At, where he also served as the vice president of product management, was live from 2007 – 2015 and had over half a million users at its peak. The platform was dedicated to the collaborative and open community of people that wish to invest in the stock market.

While working at Dimon between 1998 and 2004, Ludviksson also acted as the company’s vice president of engineering and services, where he helped build the company from scratch. Over the five years he worked at the company he also served as board member, VP of engineering, VP of services, director of intellectual property, director of training and key account manager Nokia which was its largest customer.
